Telkwa Coal Project Aquatic Resource Assessment (1985)

This report is the result of studies undertaken in 1984 that evaluated aquatic resources in the Telkwa Project study area in west-central British Columbia. Stream periphyton, invertebrates, and fish populations were assessed in Goathorn and Tenas creeks and the lower Telkwa River. Potential impacts associated with the proposed coal mine and rail access, and means of mitigating impacts or enhancing fish populations in the area were also evaluated.
