Drinking Water Source Quality Monitoring 2002-2003 Parasite Sampling in Northwest Coastal Communities: Prince Rupert, Terrace, and Kitimat

This document presents results of the B.C. Ministry of Environment (MoE, formerly Water, Land and Air Protection, WLAP) Skeena Region’s 2002-03 drinking water source quality monitoring program. It assesses water quality in the surface water sources of three northwest coastal communities: Prince Rupert, Terrace and Kitimat. It outlines water quality sampling conducted in the fall of 2003, including testing and analysis for Giardia and Cryptosporidium. It also makes recommendations for future monitoring.
