The research outlined in this report answers questions relating to the estuarine environment and ecology of the Skeena River estuary, with a focus on juvenile salmon. Additionally, it includes information on the estuarine fish community, crab ecology, and the estuarine food web. This report summarizes these recent findings in the context of historical studies and identifies major knowledge gaps to be addressed with future research.
