Sustut River Steelhead Overwinter Mortality Study (Skeena Steelhead Chevron Compensation)

This study investigates overwinter mortality by radio tagging steelhead in the upper Sustut River and monitoring their survival between the beginning of September, 1998, and spawning in June, 1999. Somass River summer steelhead were tagged with dummy radio transmitters at the Robertson creek hatchery as an experimental control to address the possible effects of capture, handling, and tagging.
