Reconnaissance (1:20,000) Fish and Fish Habitat Inventory Pierre and Twain Sub-units Fish Inventory - 1999

The objective of this project was to conduct a Reconnaissance (1:20,000) Fish and Fish Habitat Inventory in several drainages within the Babine Lake watershed group. This is a continuation of a multi-year FRBC project commenced in 1996 for Babine Forest Products Company. Specific watersheds assessed within this project area include tributaries to Babine Lake within the Pierre and Twain sub-units in the Babine Forest Products operating area (see “Watershed Reference Information” at the beginning of this report). Major watersheds within this area include Kew C. (4th order), Pierre C. (5th order) and Twain C. (5th order). All remaining tributaries to Babine Lake within this area are 3rd order or smaller and have been grouped and discussed together throughout this report. No lakes were surveyed as part of this project.
