A Comparison of Scale, Finray and Otolith Derived Ages in Dolly Varden Char and Cutthroat Trout

Twenty-four Dolly Varden char from the lower Skeena River and 28 cutthroat trout from Mosquito Lake on the Queen Charlotte Islands were aged independently using finrays, otoliths and scales. Implications of these discrepancies to the management of Dolly Varden and cutthroat trout sport fisheries are discussed.
