Variations of Success of Eelgrass Transplants Over a Five-Years' Period

This paper discusses several methods of transplanting Eelgrass. The research described in this paper was an attempt to test some of those ideas in a shallow-subtidal sandflat ecosystem in southwestern British Columbia. The opportunity to monitor the transplants frequently in the first two years, and then annually for up to three more years, led to the comparison of short- and long-term success rates that is presented here.
