Skeena Region Lakes Management Files - Lakes of the Skeena-Nass Planning Unit

Inventory data has been collected for nearly 1100 lakes in the Skeena Region. This information was obtained from the lake survey reports such as catalogue to Salmon Spawning streams (Dept. of Fisheries and Oceans) and miscellaneous management and consultant reports. Approximately 50% of the lakes had no information available, and limited physical data was derived from 1:50 000 topographic maps for named lakes. The database compiled by Bustard and Associates has been modified to facilitate its use.
