North Coast Land and Resource Management Plan

The North Coast Land and Resource Management Plan (LRMP) covers approximately 1.7 million hectares of land. The LRMP represents the consensus reached by the participants of the North Coast LRMP Planning Table. The Table met for 29 months from February 2002 to June 2004. The Table consisted of representatives of nine public sectors, eight First Nations, local governments and the provincial government. The LRMP contains seven chapters which are described below.
