BC Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks

The British Columbia Ministry of Environment, Lands and Parks, which operated under that name from 1991 to 2001, was responsible for protecting the province’s natural environment, managing public lands and parks, and overseeing environmental policy and regulation. Its work included conservation, land use planning, environmental assessment, and stewardship of water, air, and biodiversity resources.
