Telkwa Coal Project Appendix 2: ARD Potential and Management 1994

This report follows previous studies in 1985 on the coal deposits near Goathorn Creek, and in 1990 and 1991 on the coal deposits north of the Telkwa River. This report discusses all relevant evidence on the potential for acid generation, provides a comparison with the Appalachian coal mining region, and provides options for the management of wastes to ensure prevention of ARD.
