In May 2021, FINS Consulting Ltd. (FINS) was retained by Capacity Forest Management Ltd. (CapFor) to assess fish habitat and establish fish presence/absence in select streams for Babine Lake Nations in the Granisle and Burns Lake Area. The overall purpose of the assessments was to determine fish presence/absence and evaluate fish habitat to assign streams’ riparian classifications and alleviate forest management activities.
