Research Programs Concerned with Methods of Increasing Salmon Populations

In 1966 the Director of the Nanaimo Biological Station was requested by the Fisheries Research Board to prepare a report on research required to provide a basis for the enhancement of the salmon resource. This report summarizes the state of knowledge (1966) of those aspects of the biology of all five species of Pacific salmon which could be relevant to the enhancement of populations.
