Stream Re-Sampling in the Owen Creek Watershed 2000

The Owen Creek watershed was initially surveyed in June, July and August 1998 by Dave Bustard and Associates to assess fish habitat characteristics and to investigate the diversity, population characteristics and distribution of fish. SKR Consultants Ltd. was retained by Houston Forest Products Co. (Houston, B.C.) to conduct re-sampling at reaches where fish absence was not confirmed during the initial field visit. Re-sampling was funded by Forest Renewal B.C. (FRBC). This report summarizes results obtained from the detailed assessments of nine streams and fourteen reaches during September 2000 in the Owen Creek watershed.
