This report builds on two earlier reports: The Evolution of Commercial Salmon Fishing in BC (Nelson and Turris 2004), and The Evolution of the Recreational Fishery in BC (Kristianson and Strongitharm 2006). This report specifically addresses the issue of responsible fishing in Canada’s Pacific Region with a focus on the BC salmon fishery.
