Kitwanga River South Fish Passage-Culvert...
FPCI assessments done at 19 crossings, where 9 had culvert maintenance issues and 9 had full/partial barriers. WQEE assessments done at 104 sites. Of these sites, 3% showed moderate impacts, 2% showed high impacts, <1% showed extreme impacts. WQEE was determined by documenting the amount and nature of sediment input from crossings including road surfaces, ditch lines, and road fills (similar to SCQI, swapped because FIA wouldn't fund SCQI but would fund WQEE. At the time of the study, SCQI had been field validated while WQEE hadn't). Recommendations are for grass-seeding areas of mass wasting and deactivation of non-essential roads.
