As a species of special concern in the Babine Watershed, grizzly bears are given specific consideration in the development of the Bulkley Land and Resource Management Plan and Kispiox Land and Resource Management Plan. This study develops a conceptualized framework for monitoring and assessing land use and human activities and their potential effects on grizzly bears in the Babine Watershed Monitoring Trust study area.
